no, i don't think it is. besides even if they felt that other people would take the piss out of it, the thing is we all have names so we can identify ourselves and and for others to refer to us by that name. i cannot imagine having conversations with people and them continously calling me miss, madam, woman all the time because it gets rather tiresome after a while and i have a name. everyone has a name. and asking someone what their name is not personal or an infringement of their privacy. it's not like asking them 'who they sleep with?' or you threatening them. that woman needs to relax and chill out
