Can you tell someone is wearing dentures when you kiss them?

I once dated a lovely girl who wore dentures. She told me about them the first time we met even before we started dating so there was no surprise later on. I couldn't tell she was wearing them when we kissed, although when "making out like teenagers" (were weren't too much older than that at the time), I could definitely feel the hardware in her mouth. It was a little strange at first but I got used to it. I'm sure your husband will too.
