What happens if injury occurs during PT Test?

I had been asking about my E4 promotion for months and kept getting told it was about 8 months after what it should of been. While waiting for my date to come, 4 months away, I had to take a PT test where I re-injured my knee and couldn't p the test. I was flagged for the failure and then the day after the failure I was told I could have been promoted that drill if I wouldn't have failed. My knee injury forced me to the doctor where I had an MRI and was told I had a "substantial meniscus tear" that required surgery. I had this tear for a few years now and that failure finally made me get the MRI. Now that I'm flagged I can't get my promotion, which was due before my flag. I've been looking for any army reg. or manual that has some type of protocol for my situation and can't find any.
