13 and going through a hard time. Help?
None of the things you've said are bad. I was the same way & so is my daughter. You don't have to have tons of friends to be happy. You need to be comfortable with the way you are & accepting of yourself. If you feel that it would make you feel better to talk to a psychologist, then that is fine. Just be aware that not all of them are good, & that the first one you go to may not be the right one for you. You are at an age where things are changing & it's normal to feel awkward. Concentrate on your school work, a a couple of good friends & do some things you enjoy. It sounds like you have a good relationship with your mom. Don't be afraid to talk to her. My daughter (19) & I enjoy having fun times together & can talk about anything. Don't worry so much. I wish you the best. :)
