Can a custodial / non-custodial parent be court ordered to find a job?

Can a judge order a parent to find a job? The non custodial parent pays the custodial parent for daycare because the custodial parent is supposed to be getting a job. It wasn't court ordered just told to custodial parent in court. Right now custodial parent is taking college cles but the child in in regular school m-f during college times and wouldn't have to be in daycare for that. Is there anyway to have a judge file a court order having to make the custoidal parent atleast prove they are looking for work and not just getting the noncustodial to pay for daycare so the custodial can do whatever they want?
