To become a nurse practioner?

Would I need to just attend a school with a nursing program? I am only a sopre but i was looking at colleges to get an idea of what I need to be doing. I was looking into UNC, Clemson, UNCW, ect. They all have nursing programs and I am pretty sure that is what I need to attend.
